Bring Positivity Into Your Life and Find Your Get Up and Go!

  • 1. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY

What lights you up? Find the time to re-connect with what makes your heart sing. Don’t wait for a better time than now to do what makes you happy. Why postpone happiness? Now is the only time there is. Why spend your precious time doing anything else?

  • 2. STOP DOING WHAT MAKES YOU UNHAPPY

What drags you down? What do you do that you simply cannot enjoy? What causes you upset and robs you of your happiness? If you cannot find something worthwhile in what you are doing, then don’t do it. Life is too short to be anything but happy.

  • 3. SPEND TIME WITH PEOPLE YOU LOVE

When we are with the people we love, those who bring out the best in us, we are free to be ourselves. When our conversations are fun, positive and uplifting we are inspired by what we can all achieve.

  • 4. AVOID SPENDING TIME WITH PEOPLE WHO BRING YOU DOWN

People with a negative world view have a negative experience of life, and may try and bring you into their world. When you resist, they may judge, criticize and gossip about you. That, however, is a reflection of their life and character, not yours.

  • 5. TAKE A LESSON FROM NATURE

There is nothing ‘negative’ in the physical world. The flowers blossom, the tides ebb and flow, the sun rises. “Nothing is rushed and all is accomplished” (Lao Tzu) . Yes, there are storms but then all settles back into restful peace and tranquillity, and unfolds at its own pace. Nature does not fret or worry. Nor does it hold grudges!

  • 6. LOOK FOR THE SILVER LINING

There is no such thing as a negative result. A result is a result. It might not be the result we want but that does not make it negative. If you can view every result from a positive perspective then everything in your life will appear positive. Every cloud has a silver lining if you look for it.

  • 7. STOP BEING NEGATIVE

What we put out into the universe will come back. Everything in life has an upside and a down side. Some people are ‘happy’ focusing on the negative! Some people are happy complaining that the world is a mess and that they are too small to do anything about it! The least we can do if we want to make it better is simply not make it more negative. Energy is positive. The more energy you have the more positive you feel. You get energy from exercise, good food, good company and doing what you enjoy !
